General: Dr. Lau graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the College of William and Mary. He then trained as an audiometric assistant and hearing instrument specialist before pursuing his clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University University (2013).
Prior to his current role as Clinical Instructor at Gallaudet University Hearing and Speech Center, he has served as the lead audiologist of the Pediatric Balance Disorder Program at Nemours/AIDHC; an adjunct lab instructor at Salus University; and a faculty audiologist at OU Physicians Otorhinolaryngology Department.
He is a bilingual clinical audiologist, providing pediatric and adult diagnostic services in English and Cantonese.
Professional interests: Neurodiagnostic testing involving the auditory and vestibular pathways; prescribing and verifying the fitting of amplification in both the pediatric and the adult population.
Outside interests: When not in the clinic, Dr. Lau can usually be found either wandering about taking photos, visiting museums, and dancing salsa.
