Megan Hoben, Au.D., CCC-A

Megan Hoben received her B.S  from Emerson College in 2003 and her Doctorate in Audiology from Gallaudet University in 2008. Prior to joining Gallaudet’s Department of Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences as a clinical educator, Dr. Hoben worked as a clinical audiologist in both hospital and private practice settings. Dr. Hoben holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology with the American Speech-Language-Hearing-Association (ASHA).

In her role as Community Outreach Coordinator, Dr. Hoben identifies and coordinates opportunities to provide education to both the campus community and the surrounding areas.

Professional interests: Newborn hearing screening, electrophysiological measures, and the use of applications for remote hearing aid adjustments.

Outside interests: Dr. Hoben enjoys spending time in nature with her family.
